Tuesday Evening Meditation

Where: Erin Hall, Erin Road, Rondebosch

Date and time: Tuesday evenings, 6.30pm – 8pm

Newcomers welcome and meditation instruction is given. We provide all mats and cushions.

Our focus is on Chogyam Trungpa’s Shambhala tradition and his particular approach to non-monastic, city living. We also explore general Buddhism, psychology, or whatever inspires the speaker for that evening.

You can be sure of a good session of silent meditation in a supportive setting. The meditation method we practice is a way to reconnect with our essence, our basic goodness. Through repeated application, we develop the strengths and qualities needed to live joyful, authentic lives.
